David S W Mah(Daud Mah bin Abdullah), Shareholder and CEO


David spearheads KSC‘s marketing efforts and manages the operations and administration. A Chartered Accountant by training, he also takes on the role of reviewing KSC‘s internal control practices to ensure that the company maintains the highest level of professionalism.

Apart from earmarking new potential market segments for the company, David also uses his background in finance and consulting to lend weight to the KSC‘s investment committee meetings which are held regularly. He assists with refining the company‘s framework for thinking on a broad range of issues.

David qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand, London. Upon returning to Kuala Lumpur, he worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) before leaving to start his own investment advisory firm.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He obtained his MBA at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

George Lim, Shareholder and Fund Manager


George drives KSC‘s macro research. He constantly challenges conventional thinking, develops new and meaningful ways to look at the broader picture for markets and strategizes effectively.

A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) by training, George is responsible for setting higher standards for KSC. Thanks to his efforts, KSC has adopted both the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) Performance Presentation Standards.

George has over 10 years experience in the financial industry and is an expert in capital markets, direct investments, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He has worked at both Citibank Malaysia and Citicorp Investment Bank (Singapore) Ltd. With the Citicorp group, George co-managed US$50 million in direct investments for Citicorp and structured several customised put and call option arrangements on several pre-IPO deals.

George holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia and an MBA from the University of Warwick.

Tan Beng Ling, Head of Research, CIO


Beng Ling started at DBS Securities in Singapore then moved to the Barclays De Zoete Wedd. After working at BZW’s Malaysia branch for several years, she became the Head of Research at Arab Malaysia Securities. Branching out, she became the COO and one of the founders of Surf88.com, an independent research house focusing on small and mid cap stocks. With that experience under her belt, she subsequently became the CIO of Meridian Asset Management.

Beng Ling was trained as a Chartered Financial Analyst and graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

Yeoh Keat Seng, Fund Manager


Keat Seng joined KSC in June 2008 as a Senior Fund Manager. Previously, he was the CEO of one of the largest local asset management companies in Malaysia. Prior to that, he was with Merrill Lynch as the Head of Research for Malaysia.

He has almost 20 years‘ experience in the capital markets with stints at several regional and multi-national investment banks. Keat Seng has a Bachelor of Accounting from the National University of Singapore and is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst.

Nadzim Manan, Fund Manager


Part of the four person fund management team, Nadzim has more than 8 years of experience as a senior institutional dealer representative with a leading stock broking company in Malaysia.

He graduated from the University of East Anglia with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Michael Auyeung, Fund Manager


Michael joined KSC in December 2010 as a licensed fund manager representative and the designated Fund Manager of KSC Tactical Diversity Fund. He commenced his career in the investment industry in 1989, and has worked out of Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia as an analyst and Head of Research with international, regional and Malaysian investment houses. Subsequently, he headed the institutional sales department for a Malaysian based stock broking company. In 2002, Michael became the CEO of Pacific Mutual Fund, and assumed the role of CIO, Director and Licensed Representative in 2005. During his tenure, Pacific Mutual won numerous industry awards including the 2009 and 2010 Lipper-EDGE awards, consecutively, for both the Best Equity House and the Best Global Fund. Funds under management at Pacific Mutual was approximately RM2.3 billion at the time of Michael’s departure.

Michael is an expatriate but has resided in Malaysia for nearly two decades. Currently he is on the first year of a ten year Residence Pass (expiry 2021) issued by the Malaysian government. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario (Canada) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia (Canada).

Yeow Swee Choo, Administration Manager


The company‘s general administrator, Swee Choo handles the company‘s trade settlement activities. Swee Choo has been with KSC since 2000 and is experienced with settlement activities across markets. A LCCI-diploma holder, Swee Choo performed in administrative and secretarial capacities with various property firms before joining KSC in 2004.
